As part of Spring Fling Comp Thing 2026’s mission to celebrate the Vancouver Island local landscape, Harry and Haj visited Glen Lake Crag to climb and to chat about local crag flora and fauna, the Vancouver Island climbing scene, and Haj’s work as an environmental consultant—which led him to participating in the creation of a recently released film—and rope access technician.
Haj has become our number one man in the sky for all Crag X’s at-height needs and we’re really grateful to benefit from his knowledge and expertise.
Haj worked with the Jordan River Watershed Awareness (JRWA) to create a short film called Fragile Flow, which investigates the dynamicism of the aquatic ecosystem in Jordan River. You can watch it here!
