On August 1st, get ready for a drag takeover of Crag X!

Calling all drag and burlesque performers: we want our community to show us what they’re made of and to help us celebrate the overlap of queerness and climbing!

Code of Conduct AND FURTHER DETAILS

We will not tolerate any derogatory remarks, hateful speech, or any behaviours deemed inappropriate that make performers or audience members feel unsafe. We reserve the right to remove anyone who challenges these expectations from the premises at our consideration.

Act Restrictions

  • No full nudity

  • Avoid strong smelling perfumes or colognes (“scent-free”)

  • Strictly no use of liquids in the show

  • No animals (alive or dead)

Venue Details

  • We will be using the lower boulders as the stage, which is raised about 1 foot off the ground. Performers can enter from the staircase or the Green Room.

  • We will be closing off the men’s bathrooms in the back to use as the Green Room for talent to get ready. It has a shower, two stalled bathrooms, two urinals, and two sinks with a large mirror.

  • The audience will be seated across the aisle from the stage on the mats, level with performers.

  • There will be food and drink for purchase at the front desk. Ticketing will also take place at the front desk.
