We aren't sure what went wrong, but it's totally not our fault. It's probably because:

  • Today is a heavy gravity day.

  • It's too humid.

  • I'm actually training power today.

  • It's too dry.

  • My shoe wasn't tight enough.

  • I forgot to chalk up.

  • I was given bad beta.

  • Iā€™m actually training endurance today.

  • I'm saving strength for my project.

  • Crystal broke off.

  • My belayer shorted me.

  • Guidebook was wrong.

  • I don't do pockets.

  • My shoes are new.

  • The hold spun.

  • Today was supposed to be a rest day anyway.

  • Rubber is too cold and stiff.

  • I normally would have taped up for that.
