- It's too humid.
- I'm actually training power today.
- It's too dry.
- My shoe wasn't tight enough.
- I forgot to chalk up.
- I was given bad beta.
- I'm saving strength for my project.
- Crystal broke off.
- My belayer shorted me.
- Guidebook was wrong.
- I don't do pockets.
- My shoes are new.
- The hold spun.
- Today was supposed to be a rest day anyway.
- Rubber is too cold and stiff.
- I normally would have taped up for that.
